Zama Khumalo born on 25 August 2002, in Witbank , (Emalahleni ) Mpumalanga in South Africa is a young lady 18 years of age who has just been announced as South African idols season 16 winner.
When the young lady was announced winner on Sunday 12th of December 2020 , she couldn’t believe what her ears heard, she cried tears of joy on stage and was shocked at the same time.
Ten months ago Zama embarked on a journey that would changed her entire life after being encouraged by her family and close friends that she should go for the auditions on SA Idols.
Zama Khumalo doesn’t just win the title of best singer but she walks away with R1 million, a recording deal from Kalawa Jazmee, R150,000 worth of the latest Samsung products, the new Toyota Starlet 1.4, R100,000 worth of fashion from Truworths, a Kymco Xciting 400 scooter worth R120,000 and R80,000 worth of musical instruments from Yamaha.
The 18 year old singer has already released her first single” Ndizobizwa” with the record label Kalawa Jazmee and her song is already available on iTunes
The young lady said since the competition is done and dusted now she’s looking forward to spend some time with friends and family and also professionally learn how to perform and get all lessons about being in the music industry.
