New York Fashion Week will resume in September 2023, according to a tentative schedule issued by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. More than 71 confirmed designers will present their Spring/Summer 2024 collections on the city’s runways and via Runway360, the CFDA’s centralized digital hub, according to the schedule which was unveiled in cooperation with IMG’s NYFW: The Shows. The dates for this year’s NYFW are Friday, September 8 through Wednesday, September 13.
On September 8, Peter Do’s first show in his new role as Helmut Lang’s creative director will open the American Collections. The week will come to an end on the 13th with the LUAR event, which will include Raul Lopez, the Accessories Designer of the Year winner at the 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards.

Among the NYFW vets making their returns to the runway are Altuzarra, Anna Sui, Area, Brandon Maxwell, Carolina Herrera, Christian Siriano, Collina Strada, COS, Dion Lee, Eckhaus Latta, Elena Velez, Gabriela Hearst, Jason Wu, Khaite, LaQuan Smith, Michael Kors, Palomo Spain, Prabal Gurung, Proenza Schouler, Puppets & Puppets, Sergio Hudson, Theory, Tibi, Tory Burch, Ulla Johnson, and Willy Chavarria.
