Fall is Mother Nature’s friendly way of easing us into
cold-weather dressing. Instead of hopping straight into
cashmere sweaters and thick outerwear, you can play around with light cotton sweatshirts and
casual blazers. It’s also the perfect time to incorporate one of our favorite pieces: the cropped jacket. These styles say, “Hey, cold weather, we see you coming, but we’ve still got time to play it cool.” They’re practical enough to protect us from the sudden fall chill, but won’t overheat us like our long wool coats or be as cumbersome as our marshmallow-like winter puffers.
